
Head coach Chris Brown took over the head coaching position prior to the 2007 - 2008 season. In his first season at the helm, he led the Wildcats to a school record 19 wins and a trip to the Barre Auditorium. Prior to taking the head job, Brown served as the varsity assistant coach for two years, as well as the JV coach for one year. He brings a great deal of energy to the team and has great relationships with his players.
Brown is a graduate of Wilmington High School, where he was a three-year captain. He was selected to play in the North/South Senior All-Star game as a senior after averaging 25 points and 14 rebounds per game.

He also earned All-MVL 1st team honors as a junior and senior.
After graduating from WMHS, Brown moved on to Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont. He was four year starter and three year captain for the Hornets. He scored nearly 1,500 points in his career, was selected to the All-Sunrise Conference first team and one of the three finalists for conference player of the year during his senior season. In 2005 he was named LSC Athlete of the Year. While at Lyndon he was named an NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete his junior and senior year, as well as NAIA All-American Honorable Mention his senior year. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health Science - Physical Education Teacher Education.
Chris currently resides in Wilmington with his wife, who he married in August 2006 and his son. He works as a Physical Education teacher for the Windham Southwest Supervisory Union and serves as the Athletic Director at the Twin Valley Middle School.
