2006-07 Season

Rosso left Twin Valley in 2006 and found a new home in New London, New Hampshire with the Colby Sawyer Chargers. He recently completed his first year

at Colby Sawyer averaging just over 9 points per game for the 10 - 15 Chargers. Rosso averaged over 11 points per game in conference play.
Rosso scored a career-high 24 points in a win over New England College on January 30, 2007. Rosso also led all The Commonwealth Coast Conference freshman in 3 point-shooting percentage, steals per game and finished second in scoring. He started the teams last 15 games and is looking forward to the 2007-2008 season.
2007-08 Season
The Chargers were picked to finish 8th in the TCCC preseason poll. Dave is expected to start for the Chargers this season. Coach Bill Foti is excited about

Dave's return and will look to him for a big contribution this year. “David was probably our best player last February and is poised to have a breakout year,” said Coach Foti. “He can really shoot the three and is very skilled. " Colby-Sawyer opens their season on November 16 against Johnson State.
Dave has not disappointed Coach Foti, as Dave averaged 15 points per game this season, good enough for second on his team. Dave scored a career-high 26 points on January 19, 2008 at Anna Maria College. Dave also shoots 85% from the free throw line, which ranked him third in The Commonwealth Coast Conference. Dave was also awarded the coach's award by his coach Bill Foti. In addition, he was named to the NCAA New Hampshire Division III second team. His Colby Sawyer Charger team finished as the #7 seed in the TCCC tournament with a 13-10 regular season record, 8 - 5 in TCCC play. Colby Sawyer lost in their TCCC Quarter-Final game againt #2 Roger Williams. The Chargers finished the season with a final record of 13 - 11.
2008-2009 Season
Dave Rosso enters the 2008-09 season with high expectaions. After a break-out sophomore season, during which he averaged 15 points per game, Dave intends to assert himself even more this year. The Chargers were were picked Pre-season #1 in The Commonwealth Coast conference.
Rosso had a blistering start to his junior campaign, averaging 18 points per game in his first five games. Unfortuneately, he was injury plagued, suffering a slew of different injuries. Even so, Rosso averaged over 11 points per game for the 20 - 8 Chargers. The Chargers made it to the TCCC Championship where they lost to the conference champions University of New England Nor'Easters. The Chargers qualified for the ECAC postseason tournamnent.
2009 - 2010 Season

Rosso was named the lone captain for the Chargers in 2009-10. He looks to lead a veteran group to a very successful season. After getting knocked off in the TCCC finals a year ago, the Charger were picked to finsh second in this year's pre-season coach's poll.
