TWIN VALLEY WILDCAT BASKETBALL
The Wildcats continued their recent success with a 14-8 campaign and a trip to the D3 quarter-finals. Twin Valley was upset by the #12 seed South Royalton Royals in the quater-finals. This marks the second season in a row that the Wildcats lost to the eventual champion. The 2006-2007 season was one that was highlighted by a 12 - 3 start, including wins over rivals West Rutland, Arlington and Thetford.

The Wildcats were a relitively young team with only two varsity returners from a year ago. They were led by sophomore, guard CandonCorey Colford blows by a Bellows Falls defender. Rusin and newcomer Jordan Moors. Rusin led the team in scoring and was named to the All-MVL Opponents 1st team. Moors was named to the 2nd team. Moors was selected to the North/South Senior All-Star game and Rusin was selected as a Dream Dozen player as one of the top underclassmen in the state and to the Burlington Free Press All-State 1st team.

Also relied on were guards, freshman Scott Hayford, sophomore Eric Froment, 2006-2007 Season - Twin Valley Wildcatsjunior Corey Colford and forwards Derek Cipriano and Dirk Cionci. The team bid farewell to five seniors in Cionci, Moors, Jarred Bolognani, Nate Gleason and Rick Bernard.

Twin Valley looks ahead to the 2007 - 2008 season with high expectations with some newcomers hopping aboard and key returners still in tact.
