TWIN VALLEY WILDCAT BASKETBALL
Setting a school record for most wins in a season, the Twin Valley boys' 2005-2006 Season - Twin Valley Wildcatsbasketball team (16 - 7 overall, 12 - 2 MVL) made a trip to the Barre Auditorium and the Division 3 state semi-finals. The Wildcats defeated fellow MVL opponent Green Mountain in the playdowns and the Stowe Raiders in the quarter-finals on the way to the Aud. In the semi-final game the Twin Valley team fell gracefully to the eventual champs Hazen Wilcats. The Wildcats also finished the season as Marble Valley League Champions.Jeremy Werner & Matt Stewart

The Wildcats were led by seven seniors, including Dave Rosso and Dave Borys who were named to the MVL All Opponents 1st team. Freshman, guard Candon Rusin was named to the 2nd team. In addition, Rosso and Borys were selected to play in the North/South Senior All-Star game and Rosso was also selected to play for Vermont in the Twin State Rotary Classic. He was also selcted to the Burlington Free Press All-State 2nd team.

Borys and Rosso were joined by five other seniors that played their final games for the Wildcats. They were Cam Balch, Derek Allen, Jeremy Werner, Jared JaDave Borys lays one up around Burr and Burton's Zack Cowan.mes and Matt Stewart.

Rosso was also the first Twin Valley player to break the 1000 point mark, scoring a school record 1827 points. This mark is good enough for 9th all-time in the state of Vermont, as well as the record for most points scored in Division 3 & 4 history.
